Electric Service, Inc. is a licensed electrical contracting firm serving Sullivan, Orange, and Ulster counties in New York.
We can be called upon for all phases of electrical construction, repair, and maintenance.
Our specialty
is high-end and custom residential wiring, multi-room audio, communications wiring, and lighting design - perfect
for that second home or dream house.
Wurtsboro Electric differs from the rank-and-file electrical contractors in
that we spend a lot of time with our clients - getting to know their likes and preferences by listening to them and asking
a lot of questions. This enables us to design an electrical system that reflects the wants and desires of the owner.
Even though the majority of our craftsmanship is hidden in the walls of your home, it is no excuse for poor design or sloppy
work. We know that you expect to get many years of enjoyment from your home and we are confident that the electrical
system we design and install will provide the reliable and safe operation you expect and deserve.

Our motto is just our way of poking fun at ourselves. We love what we do. And we're good at it.
We take pride in our work and are constantly trying to improve ourselves. Watching us on the job, you'll find us discussing
minutiae such as drilling holes in a straight line, precision 90-degree wiring bends, optimum light reflectance,
and checking spelling on the circuit breaker identification chart. We believe that the small details make all the difference
between a satisfactory job and an outstanding one. And we think you'll appreciate it, too.

ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL
Michael J. Roosa, president of Wurtsboro Electric Service, holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Morrisville. After several years working as an Engineer for Minolta Corp. and Bogen Communications, he decided to specialize in the field of emergency warning systems, which allowed him to bring together his love of electricity
and firefighting. He designed and patented a revolutionary new siren control system called the Vedette and formed a company
to manufacture and market this new product. The company, Audiotech Digital Signal Corp. sold emergency warning equipment for use by fire departments, nuclear power plants, the US military, and storm
warning centers all around the globe, becoming the largest supplier of siren control equipment in the northeast
US. After 12 years, Roosa resigned as President and the company relocated to Buffalo, NY. At that point, he formed Wurtsboro
Electric Service as a company that would provide quality electrical contracting work to residents of the Hudson Valley.

At Wurtsboro Electric, we believe that as members of a global community it is everyone's responsibility to help those less
fortunate than ourselves. Following those beliefs, each year since our formation Wurtsboro Electric has donated a portion of
